Is a mount attached to the exhaust better than the bell housing area?

For these engines it’s highly recommended since the bellhousing is integrated with the block.

Is the round pipe schedule 40 or 80?

I opted for sch. 40 since the original engine stand mount pipe size was similar. It worked well, but wouldn’t be a bad idea to go 80
