That looks Great! Can't wait to see the finished product. I want to do something similar to this and gift it to my son. We both got bucks on the same weekend a few years back an 8 and a 9 pt. I'm going to put his up top and leave the bottom open for mine. My deer was European mounted.

I’ve got some questions I’m having a taxidermist make me a shoulder mount and I want to make my own pedestal to mount it do I need the square tube to hang it on a log?I’m just going to do a tree I’m going to cut down and cut it to length. So can I just use the wall hanger it comes with or do I need the square tubing?
