Wow, I don't have that issue hmm. You may be sewing it a size too big, so when you take it off the cap retracts. It also helps to make sure your cap is a 'U" and not a tear drop!

No ma'am, I use spandex dome caps, they fit flush to the head. If your cap doesn't fit your head before you sew, more than likely it won't after. Most girlies make the mistake of purchasing the caps with the extra room in the top.

I love how you put the tape on the head ao you don't have to worry about always using a plastic cap...foe some reason I always sew underhanded I'm going to try the over hand. .this is great for someone like me that's going through chemo and refuse to wear a wig..did you put that underneath the closer piece or did it come like that..thanks for giving me a way of getting my confidence back..

one question, you say you are doubling the wefts HOW FAR APART do you space the wefts and how close do you stitch the thread next together do you stitch very close or a a half an inch apart? also as you get to the top the crown of the the head where the closure is do you stop doubling the wefts? I have four bundles and a closure and i would love to be able to use all 4 bundles... i usually sew one track at a time using the fold over technique. i dont double the wefts. One more question wouldnt doubling the wefts make it lumpy and not smooth? please help.
