It is portable but you will need to be plugged into a laptop or iPad to get use out of it, or any external device that has an USB MIDI port 🧡

I love it so far! It’s extremely functional in my studio. However if you’re an Ableton user, I’d probably lean more towards the launchkey for the launch clip accessibility
