The strongest aspect of all your levels is the “immersion” that ties the gameplay to the world. And you do it SO WELL. Especially all the fun easter eggs you put up everywhere. Not many creators put a big focus on immersion, so I’m glad you do, and enjoy doing it.

Jam, I'm now learning how to decorate levels and I'm using your level as a model for inspiration (glorious fortress) and it really amazes me how you can lay it out beautifully, then choose nice objects and then use them correctly. (you probably won't think of it on the first try) But it's still incredible to me how you do it. Jam, you are a really great creator for GD. Respect for you.

I had already seen Jam's new background set when it was revealed in yesterday's video, and seeing it in use confirms it to me: Jam needs to de-saturate the background. The objects on the table and walls, while really neat details, all contribute to a really messy picture. I suggest overlaying a solid layer of the beige at like, 50% opacity, to mute everything. The clock on the table competes for attention with your cube, being a similar size and full color. You don't want that, of course. Thankfully the movement of the cube makes it stand out, but if paused it's a hard picture to read. The problem gets worse in the zoomed out view, as your cube isn't particularly large on the screen. Details should be details. You've made beautiful levels. I don't think it's possible that this basic visual principle eludes you. I'm still calling out what I think is an oversight. If it's not, I would love to hear your response.
