You've been away too long. We want to see your work more often. A fan in New Hampshire 👍

Nice to see you doing upholstery, floor mat turned out nice, but to make it even better I have a few tips for you. First cut the binding narrower 30mm will do fine, cut the strips from the leather stretching length wise. Before sewing cut the hairs of the carpet to an angle. Sew the strip to the carpet with 6mm seam allowance. When sewing try to bunch up the leather on the corners, this way the corners will lay flatter once you fold it over, on the concave parts, stretch the leather slightly. When folding the leather, glue the inside of the leather strip (seam allowance) and hammer it down, Then glue the rest to the underside of the carpet, then make the final stitch, topstitch close to the inside edge of the leather is also really nice, but might be hard to get perfectly straight. Lastly cut the excess leather close to the last stitch. Hope this helps.

Nice mats, I am going to want to take off my shoes before settling in... :)

Very nice, Chris. I bought an older Consew, and while I'm pretty good on my Husqvarna, I haven't learned to drive the Consew, yet.

I changed out the motor on the Consew as the factory setup was really hard to control. Now the machine is a delight to work with.

Interesting. I bought mine from a shop I helped with a 49 Chevy Fleetline chop/cusomizing when they upgraded to a new one. I saw this one run quite a lot, so I hope it's fine.

Lovely craft. Did anyone catch the name of the clips Chris used?

I'm guessing you buy your square weave on the roll. Is there a good source for it in the states or do you buy direct from a european mill? I'm considering fitting out my Ghia with it... It looks so much better than standard loop carpet.

In my opinion, as his cars are getting bigger, they loose some of the magic of his first sculptures :]
