Hey Brent . Greg here , I found out about the Penny brothers on youtube last Friday . Sure am glad they are there... boy am I ever. With all the no this ...and the no that .... happening you don't see anyone . Now It's May long weekend hope the cruze thing you mentioned last Friday happens for you this weekend ! Whenever this pandemic health issue has resolved itself I need to make a journey or my big brother does , then I get to make a purchase from him that I won't refuse . Yes it is a Hot Rod and I must be patient not a gimmy gimmy gimmy little brother . After all he is my big brother ,it is a Ford and yes it is a Deuce . It was fun watching your new video and the interior is good enough for me . The '38 is a great car what a transformation from then to now !

Hey Brent loving this build, l was thinking when measuring hard to get at places like the roof , maybe if you had a thin bit of wood like a dowel or fibreglass rod and you just push it up into the roof and you you just mark it with a pencil. Great job on the headliner, don't you just love that coroplast? Makes great rigid body panels with a little fiberglass mat over them. I have made some kick panels going that way. Again great job!

Not bad. Seen guys use steamers to stretch leather not sure if that’ll work. On mine it has little ribs that sleeve into the head liner to keep it up. Still want to do a custom like you. I’ll be doing my self cause $ lol. Plus don’t have $25g to put into the interior.

That thing is looking nice some of those wrinkles will work out over time just put it out in the sun and let it bake inside well it probably won't get to hot where you're at but if you bring it south where I'm at it will definitely bake lol but man is that thing looking sweet 👍👍

For patching in the sides you might try to use sticky back Velcro. It's fairly cheap on Amazon, but yours looks fine.

Lookin Good! Surprised you didn't attempt a soft headliner with bows. Easier? More difficult? Definitely like the design and color choice! I wonder if heating up the material and really pulling on it before gluing, may tighten it up? You've done a helluva lot better than i could have, that's for certain. Keep up the good work!

... Brent the panel upholstery starts out fine as colors transition from front to rear.... But you need to redo that patchwork of little odd shape upholstered panels above & behind the doors into something more unified. . We are used to a higher standard of work from you..

Why not do a one piece fiberglass head liner , use the outer roof as a mold? Would fit perfectly

Use a heat gun to remove the wrinkles. Just don't overheat it.

Where ever I used the spay glue it was the 77 stuff. if I could get some kind of industrial stuff I would have but this is all I get get off the shelf.

Hi Brent, I'm curious, I live in the Wheatbelt of western Australia and in summer it does get to 45c+ here and even though I have a white roof on my Toyota Hi-ace Van It gets rather warm inside,I noticed that you Insulated /sound reduced but the floors Apart from cost why not the roof, door's etc with you having a darker colour for Hotter inside in summer and you get snow in winter ( we don't here but I have seen it get down to - 9c this way at 2am) or are you putting in an a/c and heater to improve the climate inside? I have used the stuff on my roofs before but with this being upholstered and some padding in it I think I'll be fine, I'm also use to suffering when I drive around in the heat or the cold haha they car will have heat, and I want to put AC in the car yet but haven't' scavenged all the parts along with out swap meet was canceled this spring and that where I was hoping to score an ac unit haha

@@HalfassKustoms I have a 2/90 a/c system in my van, and 2 windows @ 90 kms/h But I did get the front 2 windows tinted and that made a huge difference When the car has been sitting in the sun in summer I have seen it close to 67c inside But I can say that my heater is just about to good for winter it heats the van up to be hot enough that you have to open the window to cool it down a bit.
