In this video we weather strip the doors, upholster the seats and finally try to 3d print that tail light for the Pontiac. If you like these videos give it a like comment and subscribe. Thanks!

I'm so invested in this build, can't stop checking for updates. As for the headliner. My Mom years ago had a falling in headliner in her Imperial. I used oak trim from the hardware store to stick it up. Stained a nice color and looked good. Half round corners are what it was if I remember.

Been watching for a while now and felt the need to leave a comment..what your doing is real world customising, the sort where $60 a meter is a lot of money for material, and paying someone else for labour, twice what you earn an hour, not going to happen..so keep it up,it's appreciated .😊🇬🇧

SUGGESTION: Buy some cheap ($3 per yard) "Bonded Dacron" and sew it onto the mid section of the seat & back cushions and you will not have wrinkles. You really are a jack of all trades, thank you for sharing your many talents.

@@HalfassKustoms Hey man, My mom made a good portion of the clothes I wore growing up. Something that may help when you copy a pattern. Before you split the seams, put tick marks across the seam every 6 in. or so. When you cut your pieces, transfer the marks to them. You may get a little better fit. That big old Hershey's Kiss is looking Great.

Common sense is something everyone needs......it would be great if you could do some online classes on that.....your builds are top-notch. They use steam to tighten up leather seats...they use steam on new car upholstery to coax it to form.

Man Brent, if someone beat on me like you beat on you... nothing wrong with letting your weight stretch the seats into conformation and that head liner looks fine from my place. It may not be perfect but good enough for the girls I date. I always seen where I could do better and from what I seen of the seat covers in front this time you have went from first grade with pencil to forth grade and learning curtsy with a ink pen. I think it has come a long ways..... I see it as a guessing game.. the patterns you used you expected to work ... well the stuff did except it hasn't stretched yet. Once it does then it would sow tight as miss canada back side. Your miles ahead the guys like "Irontrap garage" where he makes a production out of using a metal shrinker... I 'll give him this, it has improved his "tig" welding. You are good and by the way "Penny" gave you and Dan both shout outs... he also mentioned outlaw garage which I will check out... Penny's hudson is "Sic" man. I like the dark blue, his interior isn't as good as yours nor as complete. I did like the ribs he made for the headliner. I am not sure but I think if I still sowed some that a headliner looks easier to hook to. I got to say Brown is not my first choice cause it is hard to mix and match with but yours looks really good and has me rethinking brown now. I had a root beer brown chrysler Cordoba and it had the metal flake in it from the factory. It was nice... I just didn't care for that 360 engine that kept blowing water pumps or head gaskets. That and driving in Alaska in the winter with no heat just a sleeping bag and two sock hats to go from anchorage to fairbanks ( about five hundred plus) miles made for really cold fingers.

Me thinks that if you cut your upholstery pieces just inside the chalk line, it amounts to about 1/8" but across the width of the seat that's about an inch that wouldn't be bunching up in the middle and make for a tighter seat.
