I've tried doing something similar. My issue was the cover walls were around 3mm which added 6mm to the width and length. It was visibly oversized and would require a custom cavity to fit in. Looks like your walls are hovering around 2.5mm, is that correct? I figure the only way to keep the dimensions in check to fit in standard routes, is to build the cover to fit in a proper humberbucker route and then custom make a smaller pickup to fit in the cover. Thoughts?

This is beautifully done, does anyone know if this has any impact to tone and if so can my normal hearing tell the difference?
