Making a large work - hobby - play table with storage (DIY)

We needed a large table in the basement for play/work/hobby stuff.
Simple construction, metal bar for holding euro crates/boxes for storage.

I was going to say that you never fail. It went wrong with the measuring but still you didn't fail. I wonder if you cut back the front of lower cross pieces that stick out because there is a corner to catch your foot on there? I know it would ruin the design. You have so much raw ply wood in your house it must smell delicious. How does ply hold up over time?

Hahaha :D I fail sooo much :D My foot has yet to be catchet (but if it would happen i cut off the corner for sure) Function before form (but just when the form is nice :D) Ply doesnt really smell that much after some time, and it holds up great, only thing is that if you dont treat it with something on the surface it will yellow up in the sun... Some waterbased laquer or something fixes that

Får de fleste fra den lokale trelasthandelen, de kan og bestille spesielle plater som farget mdf og slikt. Ellers har Thaugland i Oslo det meste.

Thank you very much. About the varnish i think i used something called hard vax oil, ?hardvoksolje in norwegian) from Osmo.

New info, i used a matt wood floor laquer from a local brand. (Gulvlakk) in norwegian

Takk og kult. Dessverre så er de fra Bauhaus, men det er ikke de "ekte" eurokassene, men en en billigversjon fra Bauhaus selv. Skal lage et stort hyllesystem om en stund og da skal jeg bestille fra Tyskland ellerno.
