I have to draw my templates in pencil so I can correct my mistakes. Granted I'm usually making templates for holsters and sheaths which tend to be more complicated but I still make more mistakes than I'd care to admit when making patterns for any project. A mechanical pencil and a click type eraser are my best friends when making templates.

quick question, on the outer two straps on the brown cuff I know they have to be just a little longer because they have a longer circumference than the main body of the cuff. Is their a rule of thumb on how much extra length?

How did you get the feather imprint on the one bracelet?
@WeaverLeatherSupply9 ай бұрын
That was carved using a swivel knife and then tooled using a bevel. Similar to the feather in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/habboGCch8-AaJYsi=PeCEkOFyhY_L2usC

Due to Chuck's endorsement, and from seeing the videos, I feel I can trust the quality of Weaver products. BUT, I live in Ireland... Would shipping costs be ridiculous, and do you even ship Internationally? Thank you Chuck for the videos.
@WeaverLeatherSupply4 жыл бұрын
Hi Fil, We do ship international and we would be happy to get you shipping quotes prior to actually placing an order if you'd like - just send us an email at info@weaverleather.com

Need a little help when I use 7" as a example it naver Fits do I have to add in the leather thickness to my snap Spread ? Thank for your help.
@WeaverLeatherSupply5 жыл бұрын
Hi Jax, You’re exactly right. If you’re going with a 4/5 oz. +/- it’s not too bad, but, if you jump up to an 8/9 oz. it’s going to need a bit extra in the distance. It’s hard to say exactly what the equation is so I may say test one to get a good measurement and mark that on your pattern so it’s easy to remember. See if this helps?

Why do these videos get such little views?

Rancher o Right? They’re great. Almost everything I’ve needed to know or had questions about, he had a video for lol.

There's a strange phenomenon on KZbin where people only seem to want goofy ASMR videos of leather work. Every decent video where there's actual discussion about leather is often ignored.
