Drop me an e-mail at jannik@kinnarileather.com and I can write you a list of tools etc. and what you actually need. I think this would be too much here in the comment section ;-)

Nice piece, and that burnishing tool is great. Now I use cloth to burnish the sides, but that can be hard work, this makes it easier I think. These oil dyes (Fiebings) are good, they just need a good buff with a cloth when dry which will get most of the surplus off and make it shine, when you don't do this the dye will smudge off on clothes, especially on white shirt cuffs! But often I like to let vegetable tan leather get a nice patina of its own, which takes only a couple of weeks when wearing your bracelet outdoors in the sun ( is it called tan leather because it tans in sunlight?)

Thanks for the link to Goods Japan website. My order of Craft Sha Chisels turned up on Thursday. Excellent tools at a excellent price. The same set in the UK would of been £100+. Saved in and around half of the cost. Can I check the mm thickness of the leather that you used for the bracelet? Many Thanks Rahul
@KinnariLeather9 жыл бұрын
chakda12 Hi, yes they sell good tools. And free shipping world wide :-) The thickness was about 2,2 - 2,5mm. Regards

Question here. I have s piece of blue leather. What do I do about the side of it after I've cut the piece? I don't know if there's a matching stain that would look natural with the leather.
@Thirikalee8 жыл бұрын
If you can't match it, creating a contrast should work. :)
@KinnariLeather8 жыл бұрын
Hi, it depends on which kind of leather it is. If it has been predyed, I suspect it is chrome tanned leather. If so, there´s not much you can do. If it is veg tanned, try a black on the edges, blue and black looks always nice :-)

Käytitkö Fiebing'sin värejä tuon pienemmän kappaleen päälipintaan? Laimensitko jollain? Reunoihin gum tragia? Vai liimaa? Hienoa jälkeä teet!
@KinnariLeather7 жыл бұрын
Kiitos :-)
@prowokator7 жыл бұрын
Ok, kiitti!
@KinnariLeather7 жыл бұрын
Sientä käytit? Ihan varnasti on tosi tumma sitten^^. Kohta tulee uusi video...ihan varmasti...ehkä...toivottavasti ;-)
