A low FODMAP diet can also help, I find I just eat really low inflammatory foods. Dairy and meat made me so much worse so I'm vegan and gluten free too, it just takes practice to get used to it.

I was never officially diagnosed with anything but I had periods so bad that I was vomiting from the pain. Couldn’t function at ALL. Going vegan cured them for me and I have a suspicion it was the dairy 🥛

Julien, I've made these before, vegan too. Just poke holes with a toothpick in the pancake and put little drops of syrup in it. You don't need injection pods. You also don't need the molds, just make a small pancake. Just make sure you make the batter thicker so it cakes up.

Food scientist here! The reason the syrup was still super sticky when you tried to work with it is because you didn’t let enough water evaporate. It had to get to 265 because that temp means that enough water is gone for the solution to reach that temp (pure water wont go above 212, the higher the temp, the less water there is) it reaching 265 was a very very important step!!!

Julien: so we're going to do this weird thing, boiling maple syrup. Me, a Canadian : who's going to tell him ? . . . Basically, maple syrup is what happens when you boil maple water. So by boiling it again you can make taffy and a bunch of other stuff :)
