Making a Metate with Primitive Tools

Making a Metate with ABO primitive tools.
All rocks were sourced from a river bank in Washington State.
This total process took 2 hours to create and was done in one day.
I will be making a video on Metates and Molcajetes tomorrow.

That's a hell of a lot of work on that metate! I have a 50 pound Navaho metate made of basalt. Appreciate the video!

They took a long time. When you find one, you are finding something that an ancient man put hours if not days into, each crease and lip, meticulously designed. Thanks for watching :)
