i turned a scrow into a mini live center .
I made this live center for a mini lathe that I will share a video of next week .

Очень хорошо получилось . ! Один прикольный момент когда шлифовал конус с включенной дрелью что это проверка потшипника ? 😅 Центра конус же и так на подшипниках сидит зачем дрель включать 🤣🤣🤣 ???

Подшипник ладно там стенка меньше чем полмиллиметра.

Ballbearings can take both axial and radial load, in contrary to roller bearings

Nice idea and nice video. But the way you made it I do not agree. You should only use collets to make such a thing, another type of bearing etc. In the end it shoulkd be hardend and grindet. Run off should be

Я так делал . Подшипник сгорел быстро . Нужно на опорном подшипнике делать или , хотя бы , шарик под конус поставить .

Thanks a lot , The lathe I use is made in China, but I am satisfied with its quality ,But soon I will make a video about the introduction of some models of German lathes and... and share it ❤️🙏

@@metallantik thank you very much,the reason I ask is because I want to buy a simular lathe (It looks exactly the same) but different name.I know they must come out of the same factory in China,so thats why i asked,so to know if its worth it/special features/challenges with it and pros and cons ect. یعنی توی وسایلت رنده داخلتراش نداری که از فرز انگشتی استفاده میکنی ؟ اول رنده الماس های خودتو بساز بعد چیزهای ديگه 😢

رنده و هولدر و ... داخل تراش دارم ، سایز این مرغک خیلی کوچیکه و نمیشد از اون استفاده کنم ، در حد یک میلیمتر همین فرز کفایت میکرد ، کل این کار از انگشت شست من کوچیکتره

I should’ve done that! Made mine solid ! To much smoke! Guess I’ll just get one from ShopSmith! My machine was built in 1956! That’s the only part I’m missing! Other than a new belt ! Cheapo belt only lasted 60 years! 😳🙄😝Nice technique Sir! 🤔😝🫡🇺🇸
