You always make the "double kicks" in the same pattern as the main kick? Isn't it gonna interfere with the sidechain compression of the bassline which is triggered by the 4/4 kick?

The compression is triggered everytime a kick hits so also the double kicks! So it will not interfere with the bassline :)

Just letting you know before I watch this I'm gonna skip ahead to hear the drop. Teasing the build up is pointless if the drop is bad. If I had less time or I wasn't feeling patient, I would have just not watched the video since I have to do extra effort to see if it's worth watching.
