Making A Minimalist Leather Wallet.

In this video you will see the consistent production of leather wallet from just two pieces of leather.
I designed this wallet for 1.5-2 mm thick leather. The inside may be thinner, but the skin should be tough. The design itself is minimalistic but roomy. You can put a lot in the card pockets. There are no external elements that cling to the edges of clothing. As time has shown, this is an excellent EDC model.
All stages are conditional, and the repetition of actions is advisory in nature. Use leathercraft in the way you are used to.
Further in the description you will find the pattern of this wallet. I just give it and don't ask for anything in return... Well, maybe you can share this video with others. Up to you. I hope you find it interesting!

Just made the wallet and It's such a great pattern! It fits 4 cards each side easily. The snap-button's position is very functional. Because the snap button's position on top makes the wallet close flush, as the buttons width is almost the same as the thickness of the wallet with 8 cards and some cash. It was a delight to make. two pieces of leather, 4 short stitch lines and a snap button! Thanks for sharing the pattern. Much appreciated.

I made one of these recently and it was so full of beginners errors instead of throwing it in the bin I decided to keep hold of it as reference fort he next time after some practise. My second attempt is already looking so much better and all I've done is cut out the leather!

С 1999 го выбивал рисунки на коже штампами и переплетал торцы , лет 7+ назад занялся пошивом мелкой галантереи , ремней , для бушкрафта вещи и тд. Хорошо заходит. С реализацией правда у меня проблемы, мастеров много, а людям по большому счету всё равно что покупать, лишь бы дешевле. По этому, решил делиться тем, что делаю(своим "багажом")с другими в таком формате. Так сказать больше для мастеров, или начинающих. Может у кого-то со временем разовьется своё видение процесса. Ну, я надеюсь). Всегда старался делать всё сам, дизайн и все остальное. По этому мне почему-то важно показать, что привычные вещи могут выглядеть немного иначе). Привет из Беларуси.

С 2007 го профессионально занимаюсь руной заточкой ножей и реже бритв , дохода много не приносит, но вроде бы стал выходить на рынок . И так по мелочам типа браслеты из паракорда (молодёжь и охотники/ бушкрафтеры ) , сборка стрел , переплёт книг ( особенно библий) . Пробую разное , что пойдёт . Пенсия приближается ))) Да и основная работа требует времени ))). По поводу кожи таже история , что и у Вас . Хотят "по дешевше и по красивше" . Для себя сделал выбор - кардхолдеры ( делать быстро )и предметы для туристов , охотников / бушкрафтеров (хорошо заходит) . Сейчас , действительно , очень много ремесленников , в любой области и довольно сложно сейчас найти свою нишу .Нужно методом тыка . А Вам вдохновений , хороших клиентов и соответственно доходов .
