hahaha it is! Did you upgrade to 2"x72"? Those Red Label Abrasive belts might be helping me out.

Nice, I imagine I'll be shopping around for one in a few months time. Let me know how you like yours

Maybe a small edc fixed blade with a cool handle? I’m thinking 3 to 3,5” blade, maybe sheepsfoot style, genre Bradford guardian😍

@@kims2r first time seeing those Bradford knives. I love the lines on them. Interestingly enough I have a small EDC knife custom order I need to make 😳.

Why the random screws at the end? The handles are epoxied on....
@99echo3 жыл бұрын
Mechanical reinforcement + aesthetics. If not a screw then a pin would've been there. You'll be hard pressed finding a full tang knife that is just epoxied

Nice knife, but what's "tactical" about it?
@99echo4 жыл бұрын
Just tried to give it more of a tactical aesthetic compared to a traditional Santoku. It's hard to describe the style I'm going for since it's a hybrid of a few different looks. What would you call it?
@Pmedic6054 жыл бұрын
@@99echo A really great chef's knife. Seriously nice work, just not seeing tactical.

Thanks, I do appreciate the feedback!

I think for a focussed kitchen knife it would be way too thick a blade stock, combined with the jimping I guess it’s more tactical than a kitchenknife;)

Whats your steel?

It was cut from that large saw blade I showed in the beginning. Bought it at a flea market for $5. It hardened nicely and the edge is holding up too.
