Making a Modroc Bowl.

Modroc is a commercially available Plaster of Paris coated bandage. It has lots of uses and applications. One is for making decorative bowls. It’s a method I have often used, added to and developed. Here are the first stages. I am using rolls of Modroc that are 8cm x 3m. I buy from Amazon and from model making shops and arts and craft supply shops - they frequently now sell online too. I am also using P.V.A glue - Elmers glue is the same - it's a water soluble white or clear glue that dries clear. Scissors and a bowl of water. I am using this beautiful French copper mixing bowl because of the perfectly round shape. A balloon tied through a flower pot works perfectly well too.
