The person who did the official design is on tumblr (pianta) and some drawings of him have a brighter orange streak instead of the red-pink artwork on the cover.

@@amcleartayba That was his original concept design, yes, but in both the designer's art of him for pride month and inside the actual comic, the streak is red-pink, so I'm pretty sure that's what his final design is meant to look like. I even sent an ask to them where I mentioned the streak being red and not orange and they didn't object to that in their reply in any way, too.
