I seen some of these in a shop that sells kitchen equipment, you don't have to have loads of equipment and spend weeks (using massive amounts of energy making it yourself) without anything to put your coffee in. In fact you don't have to buy one, there are shops that will sell you a coffee in a mug but you do have to give the mug back afterwards. There are other shops that will sell you a coffee in a container you can keep but it really only works once and you have to bin it!

smiling, because I had to watch this out of curiosity to see what you did and how because I became hooked on pottery making in college (many moons ago)! My ex and I even had a pottery business and sold special order sets of dishes for people and they got to pick out the shapes, sizes, glazes themselves, so they were totally unique. I did sculptures too. I have said, once you get clay in your blood, you never get rid of it, would love to be able to do that again. My ex who is 80, is still throwing and selling his pottery which is awesome! It was interesting to see a bit of differences since we had done this though. That clay extruder is new to me, as we 'pulled' the handles from a ball of clay with our hands. That new kiln with the computer setting is 'like wow'! It is not a cheap 'hobby' kids, buying the kiln and all that goes with it plus the electric bills and the glazes. Not sure if you buy them ready made but in 'our time' we made our own formulas and mixed the ingredients in the grinders and mostly sprayed them on as well as pouring and incising designs. I would suggest to anyone interested to take a class at a local college first to see if you are really up to this and you can do this and would be really dedicated to giving it lots of time and working to perfect your 'craft'.......and have fun!

Can I suggest a different video? You should dig clay out of the ground and process it into usable clay for a multi- part series. It is interesting enough concept that people outside your normal viewers would be interested.. Allowing you to reach out to more viewers on KZbin. You could also making it into a informative video going in to detail about the composition of different types of clay.

Stunning work. Im a Vermonter and theres a Canadian potter who does workshops and now this makes me want to go buy some pottery and take some classes. Looks like meditative fun. Thank you for the content.

Jon, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for sharing! I really like your color choices. I have wanted to learn to throw since I was six years old but have never had the opportunity. But Ican enjoy watching someone else throw. :)
