what are you using for cutting fluid @27:40? Brian
@MikeDittmanmachining9 жыл бұрын
Molly-d heavy cutting oil. Usually I mix it with Ace brand threading oil but it works really well by itself too.

Hey Mike How much would you charge to make a Custom Custom Muzzle Brake
@MikeDittmanmachining9 жыл бұрын
Depends on what the brake is for, the material, and how complex the design is. They start at $80.

+Mike Dittman it's kind of hard to explain but I will try. It's like the A2 Flash Hider but without oval shape holes. um instead of the oval shape holes it would be like an S shape 3 on each side. the S shape coming from the Samson Free Float HandGuard at www.samson-mfg.com it's on the Evolution HandGuard but then the 2ed part would be to have a round part over top of it like the one's at www.kineti-tech.com

I can cut slots and hole patterns but I do all my work with manual machines so I don't know if I could do the shapes like that.

Is all that cheaper than buying a legal barrel?
@MikeDittmanmachining6 жыл бұрын
DEEREMEYER1 it was cheaper than buying a second barrel. He was originally going to build an AR pistol if I remember correctly. Then changed his mind.

Where do you get your blanks?
@MikeDittmanmachining8 жыл бұрын
I make them. I buy the stock in five foot bars and usually spend a day getting blanks turned every few months.

Did I just watch you mill that slot with a drill bit instead of a end mill?
@MikeDittmanmachining9 жыл бұрын
