Making a neck knife from opinel
I love opinels, who doesn't? So I decided to make a neck knife from one of these. A leather sheat and some carving on the handle to personalize it and there you go... I hope you like it :)

very nice job, love the mod and especially the banding work on the handle with the pop of color. I do a lot of Turquoise inlay work on different things, and love this color. Great job on the sheath also.

Nice work, i will be restoring my #7 to give to my son, and i have a new #9 I'm going to refinish for myself. Your video gave me some ideas, i have leather waiting to be used, i was going to make him a belt sheath but now im leaning towards a neck one. Thank you for the video.

It's great to see a knife that is very good in standard form..... then watch as it's refined, has detailing added, gets treated well, has that "handiness" added.....then that"standard" knife becomes your "favourite" knife. Sir .. about 3 years ago I bought an opinel cant remember what number.. every after use I wash it with dishwashing liquid ..its hard to fold it after washing..its seems stuck. Please help me what to do..thanks very much
