Making a new Multiplayer Sandbox Game | Yes Comrade Devlog

This devlog shows off my new multiplayer sandbox game Yes Comrade. It is still in early development but I wanted to give people a look in to the whole process before it's release on Steam later this year. Seems to wear the Voices of the Void influence on it's sleeve (unless there's just a lot of coincidences, in which case it'd be a gold mine of inspiration), definitely happy to see more things like it are on their way, especially multiplayer.

Very much so in a few different ways. I think the two most important elements from VoTV I took inspiration from are the physics and the premise of arriving in a semi-disfunction work environment. The horror aspects I am keen to keep away from all the VoTV influences. I'm not planning any alien horrors or stuff like that - I am going very much for a sea and Soviet folk lore with Lovecraftian influences. Multiplayer is key in this game and hope I will be able to meet expectations! Thanks for checking out the video.

honestly very promising! i think, in contrast to another comment, yes commrade is a fantastic name it really depends on where youd want to advertise the game. if its a mostly english speaking palce id stay with yes commrade since it rolls of the tounge

Thank you. Its still early days but I do think this has the right bones and is aimed at the right audience. Ultimately it is a game that I want to play with my friends, and having the "memeology" which comes with games like Lethal company/Content Warning/Voices of the Void, crossed with having it as a multiplayer sandbox, I think it can be a lot of fun.
