Another useful input would be twitch chat logs, maybe even just a chat activity graph over the timeline or some keywords that get flagged. I can see this as a huge opening in the video editing space. The existing tools are starting to include tools that are somewhat related but a dedicated tool with a mix of automated features and manual revision would be super cool.

Use flakes, almost instant compared to nix-shell. Direnv makes your life way easier. Changing the flake, will reload the environment. Set a hook for your shell to setup the path.

Only one way to find out. Re os stuff. "completed" is a strong word. I'm not working on it right now, door isn't closed though. I got going by just reading osdev wiki and trying to get something going. I have a biased lens, but I don't think anything was extremely hard, but just required a fair amount of reading/re-reading to get moving
