One of the first guitar bodies I made several years ago had a few flaws that always bugged me. With all this time on my hands, I made it's replacement with whatever I could find in the garage!
More of this kind of thing plus some bad guitar playing over on Insta: / shoneyvanhalen
As usual, worth pointing out that I don't really know what I'm doing and everything is far from professional. If you're going to attempt your own build I'd watch people who genuinely know where it's at! This is just how I did it!
Thank you for watching.

The template making is genius. And your joint is snug as any guitar I've seen - well done dude, definitely using this method from now on

@@mcclane12000 Yeah, I'm sure you're right! We could be in for the rest of the year, but it helps to think we might only have a few more months. 8 more months of lockdown is not a comfortable thought, I'm more reclusive than most, but that's a long stint with the same four walls! Tonight's lockdown distraction for the wife and I consisted mostly of revisiting the 80's on YT ... Tears for Fears, a-ha, Simple Minds, et al .. good times! So, it's not all horror and catastrophe, you can't live that perspective constantly, still got to find a little joy wherever you can amidst the suffering and tragedy.

@@runthepeaks Yeah dude, staying positive is the key, not testing positive! Left my job about 3 weeks ago so financially it's a bit of a worry but doing stuff like this certainly takes my mind off it! Might have a time out there shortly done with rich and Jude so I'll give you the heads up! Nothing wrong with the 80s stuff though for years I maintained the only things decent to come out if them was Justice for all and reign in blood!😂😂
