3:32 - making the angle sensors rotatable totally makes sense, I've done similar in Trailmakers to create a trim system for airplanes; rotate the angle sensor one way and it trims negative, rotate it the other and it trims positive. I've got a tiny little helicopter with auto-stabilization and 2 trim settings, one for gaining altitude, and one for level flight. People are consistently amazed by it when I show them how it works in multiplayer, I'm surprised I haven't seen this sort of thing more often in games like this. 5:15 - Also, this looks really good!
@luna_rose__ Жыл бұрын
This is magical... Here's a thought; what if the angle sleector had a toggle-able "drift" that rotates it at *roughly* the right speed to counter the planes movement for aiming

@sebastiaomendonca1477 Жыл бұрын
My understanding of your propeller test is that low pitch had lower thrust to begin with, but as the airspeed of the car increases, the angle at which the wind is htiting the blades changes to favour low pitch more and more. That in turn, means low pitch has much more thrust at high speeds while the high pitch one tops off very quickly.

What if you scaled down and modified this launching mechanism and turned it on its side to make a gun that can aim left or right without turning. You could even try having two of them on opposite sides of the barrel, and make them alternate firing the shots, making possible firing at two places at one time. But I feel like making a functional magazine big enough to join enough ammo for sustained auto fire at that pace would be a challenge. Have a good day!

Could you play a game called stormworks? It has physics similar to scrap mechanic and is open world exploration. You make vehicles to drive swim and fly around doing missions in career mode. Or you can test your limits (and the games limits) in creative! It's really fun. I think you should try it out!
