For those wondering, ground effect is caused by the ground interrupting the vortex created by the wingtips of the plane. Normally, the vortex will spin uninterrupted, spending energy, but when the ground interrupts this, there is less energy loss, and the plane glides using the extra energy.

Really cool build! Ground effect / screen effect vehicles really have some weird things about aerodynamics. For instance, angle of tail (sort of v-tail, but not as sharp), the wings have form different from usual (which, as I see, you represented) and many other interesting things. I only remember it from articles about soviet ekranoplans (ground effect vehicles), for example crash of KM and maybe you could find some ideas for v 2.0 in there

The V-tails found in some GEVs are for stability(as the wings usually have anhedrals) but they're not universal. KM has a prominent V-wing but Lun and Orlyonok don't as well as some other GEVs

ive seen a lot of your videos where you use some kind kf thruster (steam cannon here) to make something hover, instead of using 4 which are all proximity activated you should have some which are constantly firing and then use another 4 which will fire when the ground is in proximity with lower force, as a result it will be more stable and more maliable
