Also left in some choice bits of Tourette's so if I do anything weird (hopping, head butting stuff) that's why ! You guys wanted me to leave some in the edit to celebrate my individuality, haha! Also the end is happy tears after I heard it play with a setup for the first time. Can't wait to play you a sound recording in the full video next up, too. Thanks for watching, more details on that in the caption. Daisy x

Great video! You make some incredible looking guitars! I especially like those copper side dots. Quick question: Do you have to worry about the copper side dots becoming tarnished over time?

My 3 year old daughter and I have been watching this series of videos. I'm kind of hoping she will find interest in making guitars as much as she is interested in playing guitars and making music. At the very least I'm enjoying watching them with her. She is always asking questions. It's just a nice time. Have a good day. Cheers

I've been a guitarist since 1961 when I was nine years old. I'm now seventy two and I still play. Not as much as I used too, but I still pick it up a little each day. Watching the care you put into each step of the creation of this instrument is an inspiration. What a beautiful guitar. Thank you for sharing.

As both an amateur woodworker and an aspiring guitarist, these videos are priceless. The final product is astounding: one lucky customer. The process is inspirational. No matter how many jigs and careful prep work you do as a woodworker, one little slip using the router or something not properly tightened that allows the alignment to move,..... glad my garage shop does not have a microphone... Beautiful work, beautiful instruments. Thanks for sharing the process with all of us. Envious is all I think most of us viewing can say. Of both the customer, of your craft, your skill and your passion. Wow. Simply - WOW.

Greetings Daisy, from across the big blue pond and over the eastern seaboard, across the plains, mountains and to the sea of green and skys of bl....oran....brown. I must say I never saw myself as a luthier, but I was able to take the last 10 months dealing with extreme depression, anxiety, and bi-polarism and learned to be a guitar tech. Not even close to the level of expertise you have to be a luthier; I'm not comparing the two, but I must say this: It has been an extremely stressful day today going to the doctors office, dealing with lab work, EKG's, and the doctor who never met me telling me "I can read the depression all over your face young man." I came back to my workshop and put on your 3 part series and got to work on a partscaster I've been building off and on since last November (I have ADHD or something because I cannot leave these guitars alone) and taking off the old plastic nut, putting a brass nut in (to match the color theme of black/gold) and a new 5-way switch, rewiring the pots and caps...etc. These videos have been so helpful unwinding and listening to the soothing music, seeing you hop here and there or looking up to see what you are working on, and putting my head back down into mine own project hell. I think KZbin is quite stupid in their algorithmic bias, and your videos have great production value, a great person in front of the camera, and great content I can use to learn, and unwind. Thank you for everything you do, and being who you are for us to enjoy this content. Edit: I still think you have royal blood in your family somewhere down the line.....I wonder if you have heard that before? You have a very patrician face. (Not offending, just observing)

Amazing, amazing, amazing, amazing - and the guitar isn’t too bad either 😉 No seriously, your eye and attention for the little details are of another world. I’m truely gobsmacked by the craftwomanship we’ve seen in your videos, not only these three of this guitar, but all the videos you’re so kind to share with us, your followers. Skills extraordinaire combined with a healthy dose of humor. Thank you so very much 🤗 Best wishes from Denmark 🙏🏼💙🇩🇰

Very nice work! One thing that may help you is after putting the balloon in the sound hole, cut a round piece of plastic to slide over the balloon that will fit just under the sound hole. Basically, the balloon is then holding up the plastic and that can be used to keep not only the lacquer, but the buffing dust out of the guitar. For the plastic, I use empty jugs of windshield washer fluid or vinegar. They are a good source for the plastic.

A few thoughts (forgive if I've missed coverage); 1 lots of talk about wood sustainability, please. 2 Hand tools are lovely, if time permits. 3 Don't miss the fine Veritas pocket plane. Easier for me to adjust, PM-V11 blade is wonderful. 4 Finally, if you really need to bond something, T-88 epoxy is the best I've ever seen, do try it. Cheers and keep your spirit and work shining!

I enjoy your background music so much that I loop your latest long videos to listen to it while building my latest guitar. I think your sharpening technique is working very well, just the sound of that chisel cutting gives me goosebumps. I should learn from that as I am a lazy sharpener. Lastly, as someone who has issues that I have been born with also, I love seeing the hopping left in the videos. As many great people have sung and wrote...Live your life out loud

Dang. So many "Oh! So that is how you do that!" moments. One big pucker moment (removing the finish for the bridge). Then my favorite part of woodworking: watching things pop when the finish is applied. I gather one needs/wants to specialize on an instrument: i.e. you do guitar's and not violins etc. (that is to say I'll stick to furniture..... :^D )

But honestly the overall videography and unassuming scripting is also what blows me away. The production is incredible and totally beyond and above nearly everything on youtube. Or tv for that matter. She’s either a total savant or has an unseen secret staff of professionals that edit this stuff.
