Nice. I want make both the old and new pilot chest boxes. The cheap wearable neck fan on Temu has two quiet fans plus a rechargeable battery that I think would work well in props. It’s kind of a half loop shape

Great work, really nice end result! I find your short demonstration of filling and painting to be very helpful. I'm building a Storm Trooper (E4-E6 era) costume, and 3D printing almost the whole thing, and like you I have lots of layer lines (and worse lol) to fill in. I'm using ordinary wall filler for mine. Haven't tried sanding and painting yet. BTW, the larger gaps that sometimes occur when the print lifts from the build plate I am filling using a 3D pen, this idea is working really nice.

For layer lines I am always trying new ways to fill. Modeling paste came from seeing a cosplayer use it on their C-3PO costume fully 3d printed. 3d pen for large gaps works really well. I also like to use Apoxy Sculpt for really large gaps because it dries rock hard and is sandable. I'm also playing with using foam clay. Takes longer to dry but is light weight and also sandable. Just needs a seal coat before painting because it porous like EVA foam. Not sure it would do well for thin armor pieces though.
