Winch Application. It is a very old way of doing tow speed motors, which is why it never hit Parker's minimum order requirement and Lifco had to make it. Nowadays the application would use a variable piston motor that would shift from high speed and lower torque to lower speed and higher torque. Very effecient and controllable. See the Parker V14's and new V16's motors. -Fraser

@@LifcoHydraulics yes we use various piston pumps for our mulching and mowing machines. I've always wondered why I always see Bosch or Danfoss variable motors and never a parker. In my industry, that is. I'll have to check them out.

We have a big Arbor press , but beat the shit out of a ball bearing with a hammer .....
