That came out really nice. Mind sharing what you used for the finish? Ive tried a couple different epoxies but they all wear off after a few months.

@@joshuaplank883 Have you tried the CA glue finish method yet? It holds up better than epoxy in my opinion if applied thoroughly and doesn't get cloudy like epoxy/resin sometimes can. Also if you shower or wash dishes with your ring on it will tarnish almost any finish alot quicker

Looks great and I like to try to make a ring like that . What are you coating the ring with? it looks like it is UV activated amd I correct about that?

Hey yes it is Alumi UV. I like it, it's very strong. Gotta make sure it goes on as smooth as possible or there's alot of sanding to do ✌ personally I rather it over a CA finish. What do you use?

@@mallory6651 thank you. one more. why curing the ring in a uv?
@mallory66514 жыл бұрын
@@이진성-p9f I meant masking tape not duct tape lol my bad. A UV resin was used as a finish which specifically cures via UV. Youre not able to cure it fully with just sunlight. The finish protects the ring from the elements more than CA finish.
