These are great stoves, requiring no tools or skills beyond stacking rocks and making mud. Be careful to avoid river rocks (the rounder, smoother rocks in & near running water) because they may explode or break from the heat. Use ground rocks instead. Rocket stove rule: pull it out of the ground, not out of the water.

So many friends you have.😢 just me and my severely handicapped child, but my angel is my World. I wish I could have fun adventures like this, so sad always and lonely

I don't know you but I wish things get better! Hope you soon get some friends but remember this (I learned the hard way): You will always be alone in a way or another! There are things that no one (or very few) can relate to, as there are things that you cannot even express with words. Learning how to manage loneliness will make you stronger in the end, a as result you will be a better person and better to your friends too!

I've built one of these while fishing out at Trillium Lake Oregon back in 1997. I cooked two 4lb trouts on it among bacon and eggs the next morning. I left it there for anyone else to use.

Super cool just make shure them rocks don't bite when they get hot. You can use the ground also by digging a main fire hole and then adding a second hole for air flow. Never less it is a really cool and I hope you luck on your camping trips and hikes!

Nice, and I see you had the food waiting on a leash at the side. Very efficient.

I built one of these into the side of a hill with scouts once, you couldn't tell it was there until you lit it, problem was the rain would get to it easily so the clay was always damp

I loved this video and the set up you guys had. Did you bring clay? Or get it yourselves from nearby? And would mud also hold a stove together like this or is clay recommended for the actual mortar so to speak? Wondering if I could make something like this using only mud

Rocket stove and a frozen pizza - why?
@Ben-pz7wo7 жыл бұрын
opl500 youre forgetting to ask the real questions. "why not?"
@007craft7 жыл бұрын
A frozen pizza is not traditional campfire food? I guess I can stick with my usual pots of kraft dinner and lobsters which I also traditionally cook over the fire.

Sure but probably not for a while. I'm going to go live in the wild soon so ill probably have a lot more outdoor videos until next year.
