Been binge watching your videos since I discovered your channel a few months back and have really enjoyed everyone of them… But must say you got me with the “only got the one bottle …wine doesn’t last long in this house”…😂😂😂 Your videos are not only inspirational for those who love wood working but also a ball as far as your capacity to laugh of your own mistakes or lackings. Bravo Keith! Keep going and thank you for all you share!

If u put a piece of wood square against ur fence to pack it out u can cut the dado in 1 go without having to spin it round... if u have the cutting width on the saw. Just a tip

I've had the same mitre saw for a while, had it second hand so never got a instruction manual, I thought I knew everything it could do, obviously not. I didn't know about the bit to adjust the height! Thanks!

Suberp video.I have an evolution mitre saw and love the dado whatever it is you did.I am no woodworker but want to make some of these and hopefully they will be good enough to impress people..

I have exactly the same Evolution mitre saw and I'm slightly happy to see that pretty much none of the sawdust on your one makes it into the dust collection bag either!
@RagnBoneBrown8 жыл бұрын
+Mark Alger haha yes the dust bag was utterly pointless
@800Viffer5 жыл бұрын
Count me in to the dust breaking for the border. Still like the saw though as it is a flexible tool and cuts nails and s**t and metal with a single blade

Great video as usual. If you put a bit of scrap in front of the bit of project wood, you can cut the dado in one lot of passes, no need to turn around the wood

Well I'm a fully qualified carpenter and joiner and when I was learning in college all the books and teachers said housing the only time I I heard someone say dado is the American KZbinrs, even Paul sellers and a couple of other British KZbin channels call it housing, people can call it a dado if they like I'm fine with that but the correct term in the UK is a housing joint and when I start making my videos soon I'll call it a housing joint.
