She certainly is! It helps her getting away with being naughty hahaha

Oh the joys of modeling with feline assistance...🫤 I can't count the number of final paint jobs I've had to redo because of cat fur or paw prints. 😥

I know it’s a machinen kreiger model but to me that ship just makes me think of a high powered in atmospheric rocket powered race ship
@TheHobbyHatch11 ай бұрын
I totally agree! Somehow the ship manages to look sleek and chunky at the same time hahaha

@@TheHobbyHatch you should get 2 more and make a race diorama and make the lead ship have damage from a illegal weapon on the cheating second ship

@@crystalclearchaos5387 That'd be awesome! Looks like I'll be keeping an eye out at my hobby shop for a few more ships :D.

It's really nice pal but this are the things I'll add it: more texture to the foam rocks, weathering the minis, add some foot prints or marks of the jetpacks, the base a bit smaller (2 to 3 cm per side), use other mini for the dead body (that position doesn't look too natural). I hope you won't hate much for my thoughts

Thanks for your feedback. This was my first large diorama project I had really done, and there's plenty here that i look back on and know I would've done differently, hahaha. You've mentioned plenty of good tips here, and I'll definitely keep them in mind moving forward with my future projects 😁.

my jaw dropped when you made those rocky formations - that was such a cool and inventive way of doing it! i was wondering, how long did the whole process take you? great video and really impressive start to the channel! this one scratched the star wars itch in my brain perfectly. look forward to seeing what you make in future :)

Thanks so much! Tallying up the hours I spent working on this, it probably came close to a week and a half of actual work, though that was spread over the course of about 3 months. I recently got a new job and I have way more time to hobby, so I did around 60% of this project in the last few weeks :).

awesome model! and what a cute kitty. Are you getting her out of the room when you're using the hot wire cutter?
@TheHobbyHatch8 ай бұрын
Thankyou! I absolutely did, she, and her camera shy brother did not enjoy their 20 minute stint in the bedroom while I did all the cutting hahaha :)

Awesome build, but why do you waste a cockpit and a pilot that couldn't be seen in the finished model? That makes no sense.
@TheHobbyHatch8 ай бұрын
Thank you! Good spot, initially I was going to have the hatch above the cockpit removable so you can see the pilot and instruments inside but after everything was together I decided to glue it shut in the end. Definitely would've saved the pilot if I had of planned to glue it shut in the first place! :)
