Specifically yours have inspired me to document my own journey (for myself at the moment). The way that you have approached building your platform and career is so inspiring and is one of the only places I’ve been able to see something I want to aspire to, specifically the way you run your sets and treat people! I just started working as DoP on small low budget short films, which I end up also editing so I can build experience in the full filmmaking process. The true mental challenge comes in right after your last shoot day. It's tough but I aspire to reach the point to make and document my first feature as you have done. One step at a time!

there are actually quite a few funny stories about people finding out that they came to know the people in the backgrounds of old photos. several couples have realized they were places at the same time and took photos where they were in the background of each others photos. which is so cool to think about

I love your Solo Documentary Film Making, that's what drew me into your channel. I would love to see you marry your Documentary Cinematography/Film Making with your Narrative Work. You have been inspiring to me in your film making career and one thing you had said after making ISIS is that you were influenced by too many people who told you what you needed to do to make a feature length film and that a feature length film is just like 5 short films combined. I think for me in my next film making adventures I'm trying to figure out for myself "My Way" of film making instead of "The Way" I've been learning in film school and online. I have the profile of a solo filmmaker like you for certain projects, but I also work on small productions with tiny teams as a director… And what you’re doing here is just so interesting and motivating.
