Very nice action on that lure Franco! Three or four pieces looks the best for me. I'd like to make a floating version to troll behind a bottom-bouncer sinker for walleyes. They like a stop/go, slow and subtle presentation (most of the time) close to the bottom. Think one of these in a perch paint job will slay them! Cheers!

And now we need some kind of Universal Lure! Maybe a crank bait w/ changeable lips, held in with magnets, for different diving angles. Then transforms to lipless, for some kind of swimbait, perhaps. We need a Franko Transformer Lure!

I did this two years ago. After 5 segments it sucks unless you have a lip. Then i made silicone stoppers so I could turn it into a glide.

Lead free solder is made with a some combination of copper, silver, nickel, and or Zink

Solder that you used for your vent is made from both Tin and Lead.

Hi Franco. Great action on that lure. I like the 4 to 5 piece. Do you think a spray on mold release on the first half would prevent the contact of the clay and silicone to solve the problem?

They explicitly tell you not to use mold release but Vaseline might do the job.

Here's a crazy question, do you think it's possible to make a diy version of Berkley Gulp? They're supposedly biodegradable. Some people say any soft plastic with scent added to the outside is just as good but not in my experience. But Gulp is expensive and not very durable, so I wonder about making a tougher copy. Fish Bites makes some that are supposed to be as good and tougher but I don't see them in stores.

why don't use the silicone from that company if you have a bad hair day the silicone has an issue with your hair laugh i am not in the surgical hospital room to pour it to does work great if you have a super clean surgical room to be this to
