this is amazing!!! i really wanted to try a turkish spindle and didn't want to buy one- thought i'd have to carve wood from my back yard lol. Already had popsicle sticks and something for shaft! thanks so much :)

I LOVE this! Thank you for sharing. I have a nice Turkish spindle from Russia and a few nano 3D printed ones but this will allow me to work on multiple yarns at once. This is awesome and so simple!

Great idea for trying out that style of hand spindle but there's nothing quite like having a really nice "fancy" spindle. Shop local!

Agreed! But until I can find a shop to buy a new one, this version will be fun. Then again, I’ve never spun before so I might be better off with an ‘official’ version

won't the pieces slide off the shaft since you are using it skinny end down?
