I thought it was brilliant Clive you explained it very well. I think you will find your efficiencies going up even further now.

I had little faith at first, then wooohooo! I was looking at the garden sprinklers in Poundland and was wondering if I could rig one of those up to a bit of stick or something. I'm still far off having a setup where I could actually use it, though, but had some interesting results during today's brew testing the gravity of sparge runoff I couldn't actually fit in my bucket. Thanks.

I'm assuming that it is lead free solder and potable water flux 😉 . Goin' dahn the pub definitely trumps anything else 😄 . The sparge arm looks like it works well but to me looks like it may well be running too fast for an efficient sparge?? I have plans for a sparge system (my mash tun is rectangular so it won't be spinning) but I am hoping for more of a spray than a gush but I hope yours works well for you, happy new year and I do hope that you had a very merry Christmas. Cheers, Schnuz.

Nice. It looks like it creates a bit of a whirlpool with the water test - I guess it shouldn’t disturb the grain bed too much when used on and actual brew?

Fowey River Brewing I noticed that myself, I thought it might have been because of the tee at the bottom but when sparging its gonna be a lot slower anyway so shouldn’t be an issue. 🤞🤞

Clive, have you done a brew day with it yet ? I was wondering if you managed to get it to spin without having to sparge to fast. Cheers

brett cooper was going to use it today but the PT100 on my Hermes packed up so after an hour and a half of switching the element on/off to maintain mash temp I decided to batch sparge! 😢🤯

That should do the trick. Thanks for sharing. Cheers =)
