Making a stencil for etching metal

In this video I wanted to show how I create and use stencils to imprint logos on metals, using the screen printing technique. Usually I use it for knives, but it also works on brass, copper, bronze etc ...

Hi! I tried but do not work without a laser printer, I suspect it's something about the ink type (but I'm not sure)

Why do you rinse it with water? When etching, why isn't the etch going through the blue part of fabric, why is only the yellow part beeing etched? The the blue paint a protection? Thank you very much.

Hi, the process is called "serigrafia", (I think is the same word in Italian or Spanish) normally this technique is used for printing logos and drawing on t-shirts or other cloth, I find quite useful using the stencil for metal etching. Hope to answer your questions. Have a good day
