Yes! New video :) That sufaceplate on the HF toolboxes looks great. I like the designs for the pads. Also love the preparation of the welded joints on the mill, that is again one of those little details. Thanks for sharing, absolutely enjoyed.

I’m so excited for the rebuild on the matsui grinder. It is such a joy to listen to and watch the thought process of a true master craftsman. I don’t think I have ever seen anyone pay such close attention to details and account for every possible source of error in my life. I learn so much from ever single video Robin I am very thankful for the effort you put into these.

Fantastic video, Robin. Your attention to detail is astounding, and your explanations throughout the decision making / design process are great - very thorough and approachable. I always look forward to your videos; I learn something new from every one of them. As an aside, I was lucky enough to be gifted "Foundations of Mechanical Accuracy" last month, so this project is very apropos - it's great to see some of the techniques and principals from the text put into practice. Thanks again, and keep doing what you're doing!

I really enjoy your videos, Robin. We all have time pressures and it’s a challenge not to let them compromise the critical ‘good enough’ calculation. Your focus on addressing the tiniest of detail requirements, the skill with which you execute your work, the clarity with which you explain your thoughts and the humility with which you show your mistakes all combine to make these videos excellent resources for those of us always trying to do better. Very much looking forward to the future projects you spoke about.

I think those feet may be just about good enough haha. I think those are the most over engineered plate feet in the world, love it! My surface plate mount is in direct contrast to yours with a bit of rubber on a tool box top. I do need to build a proper stand when I get a better plate so this is brilliant.

That was some seriously high class fabercobbling, but man that turned out awesome and functional, though will always be in the middle of everything. That being said, the upcoming list of future projects, that is nothing short of awesome! Cant wait to learn.
