Ok. So I got the wood, the pipes, the stain, all the things. If I round up will the safe still fit flush?

@@ashtinjackson5452 It should but my recommendation is wait til you can measure your safe and save those crucial measurements until you can have the safe just incase there are slight variations with the manufacturer of the safe.

I don’t think the guy at the hardware store knew what he was talking about. I spent a million dollars. I got TC whiteboard BO, whatever that means. Is that right or did I get super expensive wood?

@ashtinjackson5452 hmm I am not familiar with what they sold you. If it is the same dimensions it should work though. I used what they call at Lowe’s premium pine. It wasn’t too expensive when I bought it but wood prices change a lot.

I knew I was going to get asked this because I struggled finding all the right parts also. Sadly I did not write them down before giving this to the client. What I would suggest is pull out the parts in the store. You can even tear the bags open and piece it all together to make sure you got the right ones.

I think it was 2 1x10x8 I cant remember the cost and since the prices have probably changed a lot. I do a google photo album in the description with my basic measurements.

Sorry if I still had it I would measure it all but after I finished it I sent it off to the client. If I find the time I will try to go back through it all and offer detail woodworking plans for it.

I got all the pieces for those at lowes wish I kept a better list of what all I needed. Basically just had to go play in the plumbing section until I found all the pieces I needed.

How long did it take to make it start to finish? (Minus stain dry time) and what length screws did you use?

Probably about a full day since it was my first time making one and I had no plans to go by, also filming while making slows everything down. I believe I used 1-1/4" screws. Comments if you need anymore help.

If I remember correctly yes I did rip those with ny table saw, though you could do this with a circular saw and straight edge also.

You know before assembling it I actually took down very detailed measurements let me see if I can get that to you. The socket came from Amazon I'll see if I can grab the link to that also.

I got mine from lowes it's the black iron pipe in the plumbing area. Had to hang out there for a bit to find all the right parts.

What's the measurement for example 31.97

So those dimensions are so crazy cause I went from metric to impieral for my CNC to be able to replicate this. Basically if you just round to the nearest number you will be better off. So 31.97 would just be 32 inches

They are black iron pipe you can get them at any home center wish I made a list of all the pieces I used. I kind of just sat down at the store and put everything together in place haha.

Most people don't realize that it is dangerous to store a gun on the exterior of your home. Furthermore, you shouldn't publish the code on youtube if you do. Also, more rubber ducky SFX please. That killed me.

He said it was a commissioned piece. Its obvious that it was being displayed for video purposes only to show the viewer how it turned out. Maybe he doesn't want the inside of his home to be in the video. Also, no officer would ever store their belongings, duty belt nor their gun on the outside of their house. ;-) Its an awesome cop wall caddy, I'm looking forward to making my bf one.
