What size laser machine did you go with to be able to make bigger pieces like the size of that Top Dog sign? Looking into getting my first laser and I can’t make up my mind on how big to go for my first set up. And for the metal pieces what kind of laser do you use? Co2 or diode? Another thing I keep thinking about. Is Co2 going to be able to do a good job on metals and plastics or is it worth getting a fiber laser as a second machine? That’s spending a lot more money though.

Some of the larger signs weee made with my 31”x31” CNC but they could possibly be made in pieces and the larger pieces could but cut out with a jigsaw.

@ChadsCustomCreations11 күн бұрын
With the print head the surface needs to be flat, though you could print onto a sticker paper and apply that to an uneven surface. Maybe a software update could change this as the head does have the ability to go up and down.

@ChadsCustomCreations13 күн бұрын
You’re right though I am not sure they actually contain Vinyl am I wrong?
@tvideo118913 күн бұрын
@@ChadsCustomCreations They are a different plastic composition, but behave like regular "vinyl" products behave. Never cut ANYTHING with chloride in its composition (PVC Plastic and pipe, etc.), ruins not only your laser itself but also your lungs. Chloride was one of the components in some poison gases in WWI.
