I really like this one, a take-down axe is a good idea, especially when you have limited room for things, I like the fact that this takes up so little space, no one would suspect a small cubby hole in an small RV holding a decent length axe! Brilliant And I love the fact that you filled the Axe head with weld to ensure it has a permanent mount to the Handle. Well done!

I like this notion! Looks solid, and it's a great idea for camping and emergencies. The screw-together joints give me a little concern, but I guess as long as the user pays attention and tightens it well, it's not that big a deal. I'll freely admit that I've never been all that good at keeping edge alignment when using an axe. I tend to go off-line a couple degrees.
