Thank you ever so much. I am working on my 2008 Toyota Sienna XLE Limited and I have a cam lobe sensor that has a problem and while trying to repair it I broke the connector and have been looking for weeks for the replacement connectors and the tools that would allow me to do the repairs. You are a life saver.

Same happened to me, my 2019 golf R left mirror broke and I cannot disassemble it bcs a tiny whole and the connector didn't fitting on it, my only option was to cut the wire and wait a month for the new connector to be delivered to do a good job and not just ugly joins, not only you make save money but also valuable time! Thanks a lot for sharing this apreciated knowledge!

Awesome tutorial! Really good camera work and lighting, and I also liked all the precise measurements.

I've worked with all sorts of OE terminals building/rehabbing harnesses. These Bosch style with the 2 little catches (oh, and the little push-tab inside that hooks on the catch in the other direction) make these the biggest pain in the arse. The terminals on most US made cars are much more practical and MUCH easier to de-pin. Rant over...I feel better.

Nice video good info 🤩 but just to let you know the strips from the wiper blades are stainless that why they hold the shape and have a slight spring to them👍🏴

Great tutorial, I have made a tool for myself. Has anyone seen this work on the large round connector for the loom?
@LucidAutowerks9 ай бұрын
The round connectors for the engine harness have offset tabs. One tab is at a different depth than the other. I haven't tried to make one that does those yet because I haven't had to remove any of those terminals. It would work with enough testing and refining of the lengths.
