Making a Triple Zero Life Size Bust (From a Defective Kit)

Turning something broken into a nice new display piece. Today I'm making 0-0-0 otherwise known as Triple Zero, Darth Vader's personal protocol droid from the comics. The kit for this is one of the worst quality kits I have ever received so its getting a new lease of life with some of the more useable parts!

The kit looks like an amateur tried to make a 3po cosplay, it just kinda didn’t know what they were doing and gave up half way through. 😬 I wonder if this was ever intended to be sold or if it was an abandoned home project. I’m glad you turned it into something really amazing’

When it comes to the piston details on the neck that keep breaking- best thing to do with parts like that that keep snapping after glueing, use some thin wire (paper clips are a quick option for short straight lengths) and drill and glue them using a pin vice and some epoxy or thick super glue.

For Star Wars fans who want to look like a clone or stormtrooper that walked right off the set of one of the movies but don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on expensive replica kits and don't want to use EVA foam, what would you recommend? I'd love to have a phase 1 clone/arc trooper costume to show up to my friends' house in for parties sometimes lol

Take a look at Adam Savage's build on the Chewy and C3PO build. Might give some extra help/ ideas on mounting etc
