Weighing in at 441 grams this sword is lighter than a lot of my knives, what do you think to it and the narration?

Loved both the build and narration. Others said they had problems hearing you; not so with me. You were very clear. Really like your narration, as it definitely adds to each video.

I think it would be fine to keep the narration, but if you do I would recommend either recording it separate in a room with better audio properties or purchasing a lapel mic that would be able to capture your voice better. It was pretty hard to hear in a lot of places and pretty hard to understand. But I did enjoy it because it let me understand your thought process a bit more.

Also, when you turn up the sound to hear what he says - the next scene will hit your ears like a ton of bricks. After the bandsaw, at 0:49, I killed the sound completely. His gestures told me what I needed to know.

Awesome! Worked in a papermill and they use 1/16" carbon fiber scraper blades as a wiper on the rolls of the machine. After a couple of hundred hours they were honed like a razor. Still have the scars. Cut up, with a tape handle they make a non-magnetic blade. Thank you for showing us this project, Onur. Stay safe and stay cool

Seriously, you inspired me to do one of my own. Thanks for taking the time bro. I will go to Australia one day. It’s the best mic you can buy, the audio is fine you need to turn it up as it will obviously be quieter talking than machine noises which was difficult to level when editing when im trying to keep it all audible. It's not just dangerous when you're working with it, but you want a REALLY good ventilation system as the fibers are almost weightless and can float in the air for long periods of time and can get into your body later down the line. I work with CF in laser sintering. You also want to wear lots of clothing and keep exposed skin to a minimum as it'll make you itch like nothing you've experienced before.
@DiesInEveryFilm
@DiesInEveryFilm Жыл бұрын
When i say dangerous to work with I mean to do anything with like it’s not dangerous to you if you don’t have any and aren’t going to use any. Yes I know how bad it is that’s why i gave a brief warning

You seemed to have trouble drilling into the carbon fiber. Was that because you were being extra careful, or was it actually harder to drill through than you thought?

It wasn’t any trouble just taking it slow as it gets warm as does steel but with carbon fibre im cautious of damaging the resin that bonds it they don’t like too much heat. Thank you

Dang, "carbon fiber wakizashi" sounds like a Cyberpunk weapon. You did a lovely job, though! The whole item looks classy. The narration is a nice touch. I'm always fond of stuff like director commentary on DVDs and so on (I've been guilty of buying a movie solely on that criteria, before... more than once, LOL), so it's a hit for me. The contrast of the quiet narration to the loud machine noises was a bit jarring, though.

Build looked great! I’m still surprised you wet for the rat tail tang but it’s not meant for cutting anything incredibly hard so not essential for a full tang I suppose. 😅 regardless keep up the great builds I like seeing unique builds like this!

Your audio levels are a little messed up. I can bearly hear your talking but the grinding is perfectly audable.

It’s the best mic you can buy, the audio is fine you need to turn it up as it will obviously be quieter talking than machine noises

I love the talky bits but it needs some more volume bro! I turned it up to be able to hear you speak and next thing I know RREEEERREEERRRRRER!! The saw is wrecking my ears into oblivion. Great Cyber-blade though, it's lighter than the can of Pringles I demolished while watching.
