Many people just want to see the steps of the process and the final result and they just dont care about the video itself. All the plans , all the light positioning and editing, and many other steps were perfect Paul ! The videos are just keeping getting better and better ! I kind of think this is more of a balancing act than anything else, I really want make watchable videos but also get over the techniques I use to make lures so hopefully people can go away and make their own. Production wise trying to improve the quality means making them has got a lot harder, but I still enjoy it. The limitations come from only having one or two shots per video that I can get my wife to operate the camera the rest of it is me setting it up and videoing myself and then there is the equipment I am using like office chairs and gaffer tape for circular panning shots and planks of wood with skate wheel for dollies. I've had other BPM baits kzbin.infoUgkxCbNOWAGmn6nfbCbJDmasvBq7J38KZNw2 before and they've pretty much always came through for me with the suskie smallies here and even with the walleye and pike, but I realized I didn't have an "in-between" pattern so this junebug one fills that role in no problem. it pairs up magnificently with a junebug Zoom Z-craw Jr that was trimmed a couple millimeters before the hook slots and rigged sideways for that fatter panfish side profile while still being a nice'n'compact presentation, a real power-finesse bait. Hell, it was so pretty I even bothered to fotosketch the pic into a watercolor painting image just to show you it's beauty! Even the blades are really well made, sure, they're not of Hildebrandt-level exquisiteness but look at the bead's reflection on the colorado blade, definitely well-made! The only "problem" spot it had was a bald spot in the skirt but it was nothing that I couldn't easily fix with a but of tuggin'n'shiftin' with the strands for a couple of seconds, besides that it is pretty minty!

after spending some time using video editing software like hitfilm for a while now, i must say that your videos are extremely well strung together. i just wouldnt have the patience to do all that camera stuff and then edit all of that raw footage.

Robert Fern I hope it worked well for you. I like to experiment and learn about making new lures and techniques which means i often leave older lures in my box a little longer than most. Paul! Thank you for your video. Amazingly informative and very affordable. Sorry for the question - you are an engineer by education? Apparently, you create your templates in a particular program such as AutoCAD? You initially create an image with perfect precision to the millimeter? Thank you.

No i am not really trained in anything, i did about three months engineering over twenty years ago. The cad helps on small projects like this to get accuracy, it does not design the lure it is a tool. Sometimes i hand draw templates as well, depends what mood i am in. It also helps that other lure builders can use the same accurate templates if they want to make their own. Thanks
