This is fantastic Mark, you've really thought about this and it's evident in your achievements - the pond plants will be ready any day now, not long to go and the use of the other soils around the edge will be fine for planting into, as you already know no doubt :) Three or 4 weeks and it'll look like it's been there forever - I really must come and see you when I'm in the area. Also, thanks for the email re FC, I have replied but from Hazelwood, just in case it ends up in your junk folder. Thanks so much again and you'll be very rewarded for all the effort you have clearly put in to this, brilliant work! Best wishes - Joel

Thanks Joel, very encouraging! I’m looking forward to hopefully seeing some plants for the pond soon, not least to clear the water a bit. Your method of fleece, liner, fleece makes perfect sense as it creates a non slip base for creatures and plants! Hopefully when it’s more mature you can come and visit. All the best. Cheers

That is a beautiful pond and a wonderful idea. If I lived in a more suitable area, I would love to do that. I live in a heavy agricultural area. I would be shot if I created a place to attract wildlife. LOL! I will just have to enjoy yours.

Thank you so much Cindy! Even a small pond like this does wonders for wildlife and brings a lot of benefits for us humans too! It’s a shame you can’t create one but I’m happy you are enjoying mine! Take care

Looking great, but I assume that the marginal area will be under water to? I think you mentioned it in the video, but am a bit tired of gardening. Just planted new and moved some older allium bulbs around in the front garden. The older alliums have multiplied, so I might need to sell a few.
@MarkyBigSmoke2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Yes the marginal area is definitely under water, well on the water line depending on how much rain there’s been. But it works a treat! Love alliums!
