At the very start(after I introduced myself) I told my filmer that I would probably just not film today because I didn't want to make him uncomfortable and wanted to give him the best day possible. However Zachary lightened up a bit and said I should film a video of the day then we did some trains and I think by the end of the day although he was still shy I think he really enjoyed himself! I hope he and I can inspire people to never give up, either on a trick or anything in life its important to always fight and pick yourself back up even when you fall!

I know it seemed like he wasn’t that excited to meet you but I think he was just shy at first with the camera and all. Some people just don’t show their feelings much. Lazer Gamers not necessarily, the organization that set this up is a non profit group that grants children who have been through a lot of not so lucky things the opportunity to meet their hero’s. Zachary has probably been through things that you and I could not fathom and hopefully never will.

Just try to imagine being in this guys shoes, he's clearly going through some hard shit if starlight has organised this for him, on top of that it seems like he didn't even know Ryan would be there which would be a huge shock and probably be mad intimidating, he's on camera, there are a tonne of other people there, I don't blame this kid for being a bit reserved at all. I genuinely hope that underneath his quiet exterior he got to have a sick day and enjoyed himself. I’ve twisted my ankles, cut my arms and legs, but I always got back up and kept trying, I’m a bit nervous on my bike cause last time I landed wrong on a trick and messed up my seat, messed up my knee, but I’m more confident on my scooter. There aren’t any skate parks near me so I’ve had to learn to do tricks in my driveway, the road, and jumps off my front porch. Ryan ur an inspiration to me and many more people. Watching u makes me wanna keep trying no matter what happens. I almost gave up tricks after I wrecked but then I started watching ur vids and I realized that I need to keep trying. I’ll never give up on tricks again. It would be so cool to meet u, I look up to u Ryan. I am saving up for a better scooter. I even got a job and I’m only 13. I’ve been riding and doing tricks since I was about 5 or 6 and I’ve gotten pretty far for never going to a skate park I think.
